Free Event: September 26 - Museum Day Live!

Are there any museums in DC that you've wanted to visit, but haven't really had the budget to do so? If so, September 26th will be the day for you! The Smithsonian Magazine sponsors an annual event where participating museums that normally charge admissions fees will let you in for free.

Some of the free museums on September 26th will include: The National Museum of Women in the Arts, The National Building Museum, Dumbarton Oak Gardens, Tudor Place Historic House and Garden, as well as several more.

You need to get a ticket to attend the museum of your choice. You can obtain a ticket by creating a free account with Smithsonian and then from there you can download a ticket that is good for two people.  Sign up here: http://www.smithsonianmag.com/museumday/tickets/
