I first heard of Cassey Ho and Blogilates about a year ago on a clean eating Instagram account. Every once and a while I start doing her month challenges and fail because they are pretty intense. There is something great about a person putting themselves out there on YouTube and turning into a giant success. I love these stories and it is almost like this is the new American dream. It is wonderful that Cassey Ho now has her own little fitness empire and I hope that she succeeds.
I liked the workout and her tips and I feel like this would be an excellent resource for someone new to healthy living. However, there were a few points that I felt were inaccurate/lacking.
1. Cassey claims that you can save money by living a healthy lifestyle. I feel like that is a half truth; yes, if you are currently eating out every meal and go to eating at home, you may save money. However, if you aren't, switching to a healthy lifestyle full of organic fruits, vegetables, grass fed/wild caught/cage free/hormone free/nitrate free and so on and so forth, that is not budget friendly.
2. I don't feel like there are enough work outs and recipes in this book to avoid work out/eating boredom. If you get this book, keep in mind that you will need to supplement.
I enjoyed reading the book and doing the various work outs. I think this book will be handy if I go on a trip soon and do not have internet access to do the videos.
